Impact of Various Organic Manure and Age of Seedling on Yield and Quality of Hybrid Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.)

An investigation entitled “Impact of Various Organic Manure and age Seedling on Yield Quality Hybrid Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) under field conditions was conducted in winter season 2020-2021 2021-2022 at Department Horticulture, Faculty Agriculture, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology Sciences, Prayagraj, (U.P.), India. The laid out Factorial RBD with eighteenth treatments replicated three times spacing 60×45 cm. combinations were T1:FYM 0 t/ha + VC D1 25th , T2:FYM 10 FYM 15 T4:FYM 5:FYM VC10 T6:FYM T7:FYM 25th, T8:FYM T9:FYM 15t/ha VC15 T10:FYM D2 35th, T11:FYM 35th T12:FYM T13:FYM 10t/ha T14:FYM T15:FYM10 T16:FYM T17:FYM T18:FYM 35thDAT. Among various T1 (RDF) proved to be significantly superior over rest the as it registered maximum growth parameters. Maximum Net head weight (g), Polar diameter (cm), Equatorial (cm),Whole plant fresh (kg), Gross yield (t ha-1) ha-1), Moisture leaf, Ascorbic acid (mg/100g) TSS (0Brix) obtained T18:[FYM 35th], which further improved quality cabbage also gave returns compared other combinations.
